An effort of experts in governance ,environmental studies in science, social sciences and policy making to develop preventive and risk reduction frameworks for disaster management. It is an effort to generate and develop community resilience and to strengthen institutional and legal structures which respond effectively to disasters much before they occur. The conference aims to build greater professionalism within the framework of International Humanitarian Assistance and environmental legal and juridical order.
There are 28 thematic sessions structured around 10 clusters. More than 200 papers from across the world have already been selected through a peer review process.These papers would debate and prepare for addressing the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030.
