Dr. Rahila Sikander was Awarded Ph.D. from the Center for the Study of Law and Governance, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi in the year 2015. During her research she worked on “Muslim Women’s Access to Higher Professional Education: A Comparative Study of Kerala and Uttar Pradesh”. She earned her M. Phil. on “Madrasa Education and its Role in Advancement of Muslim Community: A Case Study of Uttar Pradesh”, in 2011, CSLG, JNU, New Delhi. She completed her M.A. in Public Administration. She was Awarded Indian Council for Social Science Research (ICSSR) Doctoral Fellowship. She has proficiency in Disaster Management, Governance, Public Policy, Woman and Higher Education, Minority and other vulnerable groups. She has been associated with Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Kashipur, Uttarakhand. She taught Political Science at the University of Delhi. She has organized, participated and presented research papers in many national and international seminars, conferences and workshops.
